Michel Parmigiani, a young watchmaker and restorer, opened “Mesure et Art du Temps” in 1976, a traditional workshop dedicated to the restoration of antique timepieces. While pursuing this craft, he also indulged his creative ambitions by designing and creating his own complex horological masterpieces.
Michel’s company restored important timepieces from the Patek Philippe Museum and the Château des Monts Museum, further establishing its founder’s growing reputation as a master watchmaker and highly sought-after restorer.
