The movement begins to be taken apart.
The watchmakers begin by copying all the numbers on the watch and registering them on your customer card.
- Afterwards, the watch is opened, the movement taken apart and the dial and hands detached.
- All individual parts are taken apart and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner. After this, they are completely clean.
- It is then possible to polish up the watch case and chain according to the original finish. If the watch has plastic glass, it is switched out.
- All parts are examined under a magnifier and switched out if there is even the slightest damage.
- The movement is then reassembled together after all moving parts have been oiled. This is done using an ultra thin needle that has been dipped in a special oil, which is applied on the parts.
- After the movement has been assembled together, it is tested in a machine and adjusted according to the time intervals that different watch movements are required to meet. Afterwards, the watch is assembled together.
- The watch is then placed on a winding-up machine, which winds the movement up automatically. This control is performed for three days.
- Afterwards, the movement’s performance and cycle time are measured again. If the watch meets these requirements, then the servicing work is complete.

WATCH SERVICING STEP-BY-STEP
Step 1
The chain is removed and the watches identification number is noted in our computer system under the customer. In some cases, the ID number is on the back of the watch case.
Step 2
The back of the watch case is unscrewed and the movement is removed.
Step 3
The dial and hands are removed.
Step 4

All parts are disassembled.
Step 6
Now, the entire movement is disassembled.
Step 7
All parts are examined under a magnifier.
Step 8
The pieces are placed in a cleaning container.
Step 9
The movement is cleaned for about 40 minutes.
Step 10
The parts are examined one more time before reassembling the movement.
Step 11
The parts are assembled in a certain order depending on the type of movement, and oil is applied afterwards with the right amount in the right places.
Step 12
The movement is almost done! Adjustments still need to be made so that the watch performs properly.
Step 13
The movement is controlled and adjusted if needed.This is done with the help of a digital machine that listens to the watches performance using the help of a sensitive microphone. Afterwards, the dial and hands are reassembled and then the movement is finished.
Step 14
The watch case is taken apart.
Step 15
It is checked and prepared for polishing.
Step 16
The watch case and chain are polished.
Step 17
After polishing, the watch case and chain are washed in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Step 18
The watch case is assembled with new seals.
